JAD: Commitment and Quality Through Consensus

What's Happening

Knowledge Management, Business Process Re-engineering, Object-Oriented Application Development, GUIs & Windows, Client/Server Development, Rapid Application Development...the list goes on. The true focus of all the above is to deliver better service, more quickly and more cost effectively.

One of the key ingredients to developing creative solutions and implementing them is the involvement of the key stakeholders in the process.

The concept of JAD or Consensus Management is based on group sessions of key personnel. Under the guidance of a facilitator they meet to develop the solutions to their problem. Properly managed, the JAD session produces a quality deliverable in a short period of time.

About This Seminar

This seminar uses the 5WH approach. In other words it will answer the Who, What, When, Where, Why and How of JAD. It will cover what it is, the benefits of the approach, how to select the right participants, how it relates to methodologies and technologies and how to prepare for and run a session.
